  1. Hey there,

This is a bit of a random one, but I was looking through the The mini forum (http://www.theminiforum.co.uk/forums/topic/246508-some-pictures-from-our-mini-adventure/#entry2716599 ) and came across the link to your blog. It was the post about the mini that caught my attention. Do you still have this car? I owned this car back in 2007 – 2009 and always wondered who bought it as I had my father sell it when I moved to the United States. I love your picture of the mini (w991kuy) sitting at 8200 feet above sea level.

Be interested to hear if you still have it (or interested in selling it)

    1. Oh wow! No, we sold it this time last year I’m afraid- but we really miss it. It went to a good home though, a guy who promised he’d look after it. My boyfriend kept it exactly the same, apart from a few different lights on the front, he never had any issues with it (as you can see it took us safely to Italy and back)- he said it’s the best car he ever owned. Thank you for getting in touch, and passing it on to him. We named the car Squeak, as the mini before that was called Rattle and the 1966 was called… Rusty! Even though really he had no rust- that’s gone too though. Small world huh!

      1. Thanks for getting back to me. It was a great wee car. Glad to hear it looked after you. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the number plate.

        Thanks again for the response.
